Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service are between you and Robyn Maya, trading as Job BFF. By creating an account or using Job BFF you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your login secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the app to harass, spam, impersonate anyone, or engage in unlawful activity.
• Do not attempt to access other users' data, bypass access controls, reverse-engineer the app, or probe its security.
• Do not scrape or submit content you have no right to use, and respect the terms of the job sites you copy links from.
• Do not use the AI features to generate illegal content, malware, hate speech, deepfakes, or to misrepresent your qualifications in a way that is fraudulent.

4. AI-generated content

Insights, gap analyses, resume drafts, and email drafts are suggestions produced by an AI model. They may be incomplete or wrong. You are solely responsible for reviewing every claim before sending a resume or email, and for ensuring your applications are truthful. Suggested gap-closing lines are proposals, not statements of fact about your history. We may review, filter, or refuse outputs that violate these terms.

5. Email drafts

Job BFF can pre-fill email drafts and hand them to your own Gmail or default mail app. We never access your mailbox and never send email for you — you review and send every message yourself. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of your CV, notes, and documents. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process, and display that content for you inside the app. You represent that you have the right to upload or paste any content you provide.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans and top-up credit packs are sold by Robyn Maya and processed by Stripe. Robyn Maya is the seller of record for all orders, which means we handle customer service, billing questions and refunds directly. Subscriptions renew automatically on your billing anniversary until you cancel; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

AI usage is metered against your plan's included allowance. Top-up credits are purchased separately, never expire, and are spent only after your monthly allowance is used. Used top-up credits cannot be refunded because the underlying AI processing cost has already been incurred.

8. Availability and changes

The app is provided "as is" and may change, break, or be discontinued. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities, arising from your use of the app.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud, security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.
